PetBuddy stores all your pet's information locally on your device, ensuring complete privacy and control. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or backup. We implement industry-standard security practices to protect the app itself, and your device's built-in security features protect your stored data.

Currently, PetBuddy supports managing one pet per profile. However, multi-pet support is our most requested feature and is actively in development! The upcoming update will allow you to create individual profiles for each pet, with separate health records, journals, and reminders. Stay tuned for this exciting feature!

Yes! PetBuddy is available on both the Apple App Store for iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) and Google Play Store for Android devices. The app features and functionality are identical across both platforms, ensuring a consistent experience regardless of your device.

Currently, PetBuddy allows you to backup your journal entries and associated images. To create a backup: Go to Settings > Backup & Restore > Create Backup. This creates a local file you can save to your device or cloud storage. We're working on expanding backup capabilities to include all pet data in future updates.

PetBuddy is completely free to download and use! All core features including health tracking, reminders, growth charts, and journal are available at no cost. We support the app through non-intrusive advertisements. In the future, we may offer optional premium features, but the essential functionality will always remain free.

Yes! You can export your pet's health records, vaccination history, and growth data as a PDF report. This is perfect for sharing with your veterinarian or keeping physical copies. Simply go to your pet's health section and tap the export button to generate a comprehensive report.

Absolutely! Since all data is stored locally on your device, PetBuddy works perfectly offline. You can access all features, view records, and make entries without an internet connection. The only features requiring internet are app updates and viewing advertisements.
